Embarkation Day

One of David’s suitcases had its frame caved in like something very heavy had been set on top of it; we took it to the front office to be either fixed or replaced. ... hvor vi skulle gennemgå forskellige overlevelsesøvelser. Derfor skulle vi iføres en redningsdragt, som til forveksling minder meget om en rumdragt, derefter skulle vi hoppe ud fra en tremetersvippe og svømme hen til en redningsflåde, og samarbejde om at komme i og ud af den. Derefter lærte vi også andre vigtige ting, såsom hvordan en livring skal kastes ud osv. Eftermiddagen bestod igen af undervisning i klasselokalet, og også denne dag bestod vi.

exceptional.
Tomorrow we drive from Fort Lauderdale to
Jacksonville, Florida (5 hours), where we will spend two nights with
friends we met on our Middle East trip last year. Then we fly to
Texas to celebrate Brian's birthday on May 1. (Mine was last year!)
Finally, back to Mazatlan on May 5 or 6 in time to unpack and repack
for our trip to Toronto for Isabel's baptism on May 29.
