          ... all the time... Stupid! Anyway off we set for Bryce Canyon, it is only 7 miles away which is great.. We arrive so early the visitors centre isn't open so we use a little map to plan a hike deciding on the Navajo loop as it looks like it covers a bit of everything.           ... has a beautiful view of a mountain who's name escapes me. (Fleecer Mountain) As a kid, I hunted up there with my brother in an area called Vipond Park. Anyway, lunch was snacks.           When we left vegas we headed for zion national park in Utah.

          The roads are big and long and surrounded by desert, with the odd petrol (gas) station and tiny villages along the way. The fee for the park was $25, and there was a campsite right next to the visitor centre. There was also a trail nearby which of course phil wanted to go and investigate.
