    ... area and the buildings are up to 7 stories unlike most Venetian buildings at 3 or 4 stories. This was allow places for all the Jews to live on the island.

    We ended up down by the train station where we picked up a vaporetto back to our place for a rest before heading out to dinner. We ended up walking in St Mark's Square in the evening both of us very much enjoying the ambiance of the place at night with lights and few people.

    ... squares that break up the city but this one is the biggest and most popular. There were pigeons everywhere and people were feeding them and they landed in your hands to eat.
