    ... us on shoulder-less, high traffic roads - the equivalent of Barbur Boulevard (in Portland) without bike lanes. We made it safely to Dese and reconnected with our route, but wow, what an adrenalin rush! Ironically, our detour knocked 5k off our route. Others in our group didn't fare so well when they got lost too and doubled back a couple of times. They rode 63k yesterday! This was by far the most difficult day ...

    ... heavens opened up, and it was quite wet, so stayed on board and had a early night. Woke refreshed and ready to go ashore with friends to do some shopping, before we set sail at 1pm, and did we shop, clothes bags gifts shoes.     ... until we found a nice little espresso bar where we stood at the bar and had a nice macchiato followed by some sampling of a local peach wine.
