Moira and Celia are at their last day of day camp. They've participated in two week long camps from 9am-2pm Monday through Friday. They have been a phenomenal experience. Last week's camp was sponsored by the Museum of Contemporary Art. The theme was "Madrid". They studied Spanish artists through the decades, chose a work to replicate, and got to know the work of the museum. ...

... centrally located. Just a short walk down the street to restaurants and only a couple of blocks back from the beach.

Happily, Tash's father had invited us along with her brother away for a vacation in Spain, arranged for his birthday by his wife. The journey there was frankly a little arduous, Tash had the unenviable task of driving us up ...

    To Altea

... overcast, rain, 15C. A day of doing even less than usual, lying about reading.

    Sunday 23rd March 2014

Back to sunshine and 20C plus, that is more like it.

We go to Altea on our bicycles, but, this time we are fore-warned, no more attempts to ride to the top of the hill, or to carry / wheel bicycles up an apparently never ending flight of steps!
