    This pub is beautiful with so much history. Staff are great. The rooms upstairs are great but they do need to do some urgent work.

    Our drive to Robe was Fun. We thought we would have a coffee at Policeman Point, but there was nothing there but a sign. So we kicked on to the roadhouse at Salt Creek. 'Doves place' was a real typical Aussie place and he was the classic, politically incorrect ocker bloke. A little spot for hunting and fishing if it's your thing.

    ... it of its wool, but just at showtime the power went off! Darn! They had forgotten that the power was going to be down for the whole day, so no sheep-shearing for us! The Tourist Information brochures say it is a must to stop at the Robe Hotel and Caledonian Inn which have both been operating since the 1800’s. As always, we followed the rules and tested both out.
