... like a local at Centrale. 1 hour wait fro train to Genoa- an Intercity route costs 20€ for what suppose to be 90 min trip. Took over 2 hours. Passing through more flat farmland ( could have been in France) till we got to mountainous country and seems like one eternal town, but probably a series of towns. All closely built with 3-6 storey flats. Not pretty. Arr Genoa around 2 pm. Heavy rain. Limited facilities at station which is a ...

The torta fritta puff up with a giant air bubble inside so you can break them apart to have with the vegies and meats, and they're much lighter than bread. I have to say, the prosciutto is softer and more tender than any I've had back home. There is no chewiness or stringiness, it almost melts in the mouth. And the slight sharpness from ...

... After three hours turned off on to the A21 for Genoa. A much quieter road grape vines were prominent. The run into Genoa both scenic and hair raising it would give the G.O.R a run for it's money with kilom of curves. It was 5pm by then and the cruise was to leave at 5pm! What a race the driver didn't speak English so we had no up date but thought as it was organised by MSC we would ...
