Tough Day!

A travel blog entry by kelseabain on Sep 04, 2013

... was just held in a large room at the clinic and food was ordered in. There were speeches and a slideshow that included pictures and a video of our dance and birthday messages that were recorded from us and other staff to Nawang. We got up and presented a card to Nawang and told her that we had made a donation to PNTC on behalf of the 6 of us to go towards whatever is needed. We expressed our gratitude for teaching us so much - not only about PT, but ...

... It all started at 3 AM when we woke up, picked up at 4 AM, make-up, hair and dressing until 7 AM at Bu Netti's, arrived at car free days at 7:30. We looked wild! Despite how slippery the canvas was, none of us fell but there were definitely a few close calls, even ...

Erica sounds like she had so much fun in Thailand. I was asking her all about good places to go. She sounded kind of mad and like she didn't think that I was taking her suggestions well. I don't know, hopefully she was just tired from the flight. She got a bamboo tattoo on her ...

Since climbing the mountain, it has been a regular work week but definitely busier at PNTC now that the holidays are over. Nawang is in the hospital right now dealing with some health issues, so we are just carrying on with our own patients. Unfortunately, she told us that she won't be able to organize a week at the Orthopaedic Hospital here in Solo. Completely understandable though - we told her just to take care of herself and not to worry about the 6 of us. Dance class is ...
