A night in Saudi Arabia
... sleep a bit in the praying room at the airport but that was no success so I got up early again and prepared for the trip to India.

- The minimum amount you can take from the ATM is quite a lot. You can also change 5 or 10 USD (what I did) so at least you can buy some water and coffee.

Epilogue: The Kingdom
Having sold my sole once again to the Corporate world, I visited Saudi. Inevitably the camera came out, albeit I was in a suit. Having been round the world once in the last 12 months, I wasn't setting off again, but on business, into the mysterious world that is the Gulf. One that I have never been too before, and now only leaves the major regions of Canada and China/Japan, which I haven't been to on this globe. Will I need to start going to different planets?

First Camp Out!
... walked the trail our entire group had done the day before to play it safe.
Things heated up quickly and all the campers were on the road in no time. As a final treat we ran across a Bedouin walking his heard of camels somewhere. Sometimes the people here are very sensitive about having their pictures taken, but he wasn't. He was quite friendly. What a wonderful end to a pleasant first camp out.

Camel Souk
After my first camp out, we stopped at the major camel souk (camel market) of Riyadh.
It's pretty rustic. A lot of crude pens, kind of cobbled together with streets (dirt roads) that meander throughout it.
We had come on a Friday, which is the slowest day of the week because it is like the Sundays in the west, so there wasn't much going on. I didn't take as many pictures as I should have, so I'll have to return for a more complete ...
