    ... We have an amazing view of south beach. The girls were feeling the time difference so hit the bathroom spa bath. Mike and I legged it to the pool and the beach for a swim as the sun went down. After a quick change we then went out and found us a burger to fill a hole! 30 degrees at night the humid warm air felt great. The Art Deco buildings and neon lights looked really cool and even seeing the yellow fire hydrants, over hanging traffic ...

    ... Ben and Jerrys Sundae for dessert more than made up for it. Brandy and coffee to finish. Very nice. I then recline my seat to watch some movies?     It was a refreshing change to finally be in America again after all that time away. Just a couple of days until I’m back in Brighton though, and nowhere in the world is quite like Brighton. Fort Lauderdale is however one of the few other places I’d happily live for a while. It’s got everything, it’s near Miami, and the weather is stunning most of the year.
