City Tour
... at a Hindu Shrine. We all took off our shoes and were allowed to walk into the shrine and take some photographs. The shrine was sandy, well used and elephant poop on the ground was indicative that we were not the only strangers to visit.

Not such a Fort
... more skill in it. We went for dinner with our bollywood friends and between me and Sam Boy we shared a whole tandoori chicken.
The next day Sam Boy wasn't feeling too well again so I went off by myself to explore the historic aspects of Fort Cochin. I started in the Indo-Portuguese Museum which has the remains of the Portuguese Fort. I couldn't help but laugh as the remains could only be described as a few bricks in the basement. ...

Kochi is another city settled on the edges of the backwaters. It has been owned by the Dutch, Portuguese and the British so it's a nice blend of lots of Colonial architecture.
Our first mission was to work out how we were going to get to Mysore. We were looking at either a 9 hour bus journey or the train to Bengalore, followed by a 3 hour bus journey. As crazy as it sounds the buses here so far have not been the sort of ones you could settle ...
