Oh what a delightful stay! I can't speak highly enough of this resort, close to the beach; helpful, obliging staff, close to the Mission San Juan Capistrano, close to both fresh food which can be prepared in the well-appointed kitchen or on the BBQ and to the cafes and restaurants in the town. If you fancy a beverage and therefore can't drive you can simply wander along the beachfront past various cafes and bars until one takes your fancy. Our apartment felt like it had been soundproofed, as did my room - my friends are a couple and had their own room - both rooms had their own bathroom, and no stingy amenities here, bathrooms were large, cupboard space is large, living and dining space is plentiful. Even though our place was at the back without a view we could sit out on our little verandah and watch rabbits hopping around while our steaks cooked on the barby and we sipped our pina coladas. I loved it here, I could live here! There is parking underneath with convenient trolleys to wheel luggage upstairs. The location of this resort is ideal - half way between LA and San Diego. And Orange County is so interesting....

So we rode Star Tours multiple times (as we Star Wars fans do), Space Mountain (twice), The Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, Pirates of the Caribbean, The Haunted Mansion, Splash Mountain and the Jungle Cruise. Unfortunately we missed going on Indiana Jones: Journey into the Forbidden Eye, as it was temporarily closed each time we walked past :( Not to fear though, as I would get to ride it ...

He gave Goofy a hug at Goofys kitchen where we ate at the 1st night. Food was OK but it was more for the experience. He only liked Dale when characters came around to our ...
