Hello Vancoooouver!
... It is a surprisingly hard habit to break, even walking and going to right rather then the left = lots of awkward moments and near collisions!
Cars here are BEASTS (utes that must guzzle so much fuel seeming as they would have to be at least 1 and a ½ cars long and some we have seen have actually been taller then Sarah!) while houses are just beautiful, like things from fairytales.
Everything is sweet! E.g. no bakery sells ...
Our day in Vancouver!
After a good nights sleep we woke up at around 6am local time (2pm in England - we were chuffed with our effort at sleep!) and after a shower and breakfast we felt ready for the day. We set off at 9am and had an amazing day and got to see loads of Vancouver. Below are the highlights: • Walked to Stanley Park (massive park surrounded by the water) where we walked around the Lost Lagoon, saw a lighthouse and various famous sculptures including totem poles, ...

... escalate if she stayed so we went to the front desk. The staff must have been looking for this opportunity because the first thing they said was they were going to ask her to leave! I was really surprised, as I had just hoped we could be separated to different rooms.The silver lining is that it did give the other girls and I a chance to bond over our mutual anger and dislike. The next night I took them to my favourite sushi haunt!
