... Hotel Kota Bharu for their opening sale, I chose to go from Kota Bharu to Narathiwat and fly to Bangkok from there.
Originally I could only find information on crossing into Thailand via Sungai Kolok. But after asking people found out crossing from Penkalan Kubur to Tak Bai would be much faster. The flight was due to depart at 12:30 noon and I decided not to stay the night in Narathiwat but head there on the first bus at 6:45am Malay time. It is bus 27 leaving on the 7/11 side of ...

Lost Souls

We want to keep this entry short. Today we lost our souls on mini buses and in a squat of a guest house.

3 mini buses, 12 hours, Koh Lanta to Sungai Kolok. An easy border crossing, a hair raising taxi journey, a new city, a filthy guest house, KFC, no alcohol and a film before sleep.

Now lets forget it never happened!
