... with 11 other family members is quite different than traveling with a bunch of non-stop "kids" in their 20s. Although at some points I would forget this and get slightly frustrated when everybody wasn't "up" for walking around aimlessly for hours or eating at an exotic/different restaurant where we might not know what we were ordering, I learned to appreciate the differences and make the best of our "Griswold European Vacation." ... results. The view expanded far beyond Nice, and quiet possibly beyond Cannes; it was incredible. I took out a well deserved apple and enjoyed it beyond measure. I enjoyed the view for quiet sometime, and looked around the village a bit as well. It was as if I had stepped through a time machine to the 16th century. ... tired so both managed to get a small nap in, then walked to a local waterfall which had a lookout from behind the waterfall itself. An early night that night after a delicious dinner made by the top deck 'pop up tent' crew. So this morning we bade farewell to Switzerland, which so far has been my favourite of settings. Our trip today will be roughly eight hours depending on traffic. Our route to Nice goes through a portion of Italy... Apparently ...
