We checked into the hotel, thankfully they had a room we could use, grabbed a bite to eat and relaxed before our city tour this afternoon at 1pm Boy did we need the relaxing, our tour this afternoon was a frogmarch/run around Kazan. ... as we travelled east. Despite this we made it to the local market which was full of little old ladies in head scarves selling vegetables. It was a lovely market but really was not unique to Kazan. What did make it special though was to see all the different faces of the people there.
