Friday was spent overnight at a ranch in Texas. Unfortunately, because we had a long day of driving, we didn’t get to see much of the state. Saturday night ...

Having fuelled ourselves from our own stock, we needed to also refuel for the car. We set off at 10am to go get gas from Mo & Sam's corner, 35 bucks to fill the car, as we were running on empty after our 330 miles drive yesterday. All full we drove along Route 66, twerking our way ...

... was a rather tired looking Children's playarea! Not quite worth writing home about, but you have to love these Route 66 oddities!

We then decided to steer away from Route 66 and contine to head East to take in the music cities of Memphis and Nashville. We'd certainly seen quite a lot of small towns, eaten in a lot of diners and seen a lot of the wacky attractions...so we thought we'd go and visit Elvis next instead ...
