... in the late 1700's, 1800's and early 1900's. There were artisans in period dress demonstrating sewing, blacksmithing, and woodworking and a lovely 91-year-old WWII veteran talking about his experiences as a farmer in the area and flirting shamelessly with me. The weather was cold but that meant we encountered few other visitors and so practically had the place to ourselves.
