... Lafayette to see St John's Cathedral and Cemetery, then Breaux Bridge where I did a lovely kayak ride around Lake Martin. Yesterday I biked around Baton Rouge, along the levee bike trail and then to the university, where there's a lake that I hung out by and read a book. Today on my way out of town (to New Orleans!) ... was a Walmart close by that the hotel shuttle would have taken me to but I would have had to go in my uniform and I figured I really didn't need to be spending money on a pair of jeans I really didn't need so I didn't go. It was a good reason to stay in my room and get some tax work done anyway so that's what I did. It was a good laugh for the crew though when I told them I forgot my pants.
