... goodbyes to Andy and Annett and headed out around noon.. We gave away all our veggies and cutup all our remaining apples for eating while we drove, so we were ready for the border crossing. There were long lineups, but they were mostly all trucks. The car and RV lanes were actually quite short! We waited about 15 minutes and got through in less than 5...no questions about chicken or eggs this time.... The border crossing in Sarnia has been improved and ...

... lake that appears like an ocean except for the lack of waves crashing on the shore. And we visited two harbors/marinas and spent a pleasant time watching the birds, some of which were friendly enough to allow me to get up close and personal to take their photos. If not for the small boy whose grandmother encouraged him to run through them and make them fly away, I could have gotten even more.
