      Today was the long-awaited rafting trip - the first for three of us. We chose White Otter Outdoor Adventures out of Sunbeam, and they were fantastic. John and Carol caravaned with us to Stanley, and along the way we stopped at a scenic overlook and got a gorgeous view of the Sawtooth Valley.       ... Mike and I smoked some ribs at the house in Boise about 3/4's of the way done and when we got to the cabin, put 'em back on the grill to finish them up.       ... finally settled into nourishing soak with mountainous landscape views to get lost in. I do believe I found my happy place!

      The time finally came for us to come to terms with the fact that we must depart from lovely Idaho - although, our pace was pokey and there was talk of us returning to the One Way Club for 4th of July festivities...looks like I may need to change the title of this blog from "Cross Country Travels" to "My Idaho Summer Vacation" :)
