    ... and miss getting through the trees.

    Mike and I broke out the Kayak and got it ready to go down to the the south fork of the Payette River. We got it ready to go and loaded into the truck. Barb drove us down the road a bit to drop us off. We got out of the truck and found that the Kayak had a bad seam and we lost our air. Bummer, it would have been cool to take a run down the river.

    ... awful! There were hot springs right off the road on the edge of the river. We weren’t able to get there when there weren’t enough people taking a dip that we wouldn’t fit, but it looked nice.

    The Sawtooth Mountains are a definite must if you have a scenic travel bucket list. The hiking is bountiful and there is the chance to see a lot of cool animals. We want to come back and do some overnight hikes at some time in the future. You should ...

    ... final sweep through, we hiked from the hut in the sunshine. We made it down in a little over forty five minutes, which is half the time it took to get up.
