Todays travel ended at Grant's Pass, Oregon. Wikipedia gives quite a few details about its history, but it's the stuff you find out by accident that is more telling, in this case we were told that Grant's Pass had its own very strong chapter of the KKK. Funnily enough that doesnt get a wikimention.
