OH MY GOSH! I CANNOT BELIEVE IT! I can't count the remaining days we have in the United States on ONE hand!

Last night we took a fellow Yelp! Elite, who just moved to the area, out for drinks at Nocturnem to tell her what we did to pass the time in Bangor. She's here for a three month rotation as a traveling nurse. I wish she had moved here months ago because we all got along so well. We gave her our Beer Trail Map and told her the "must ...

We awoke so happy to have had electricity last night since it got pretty cold. We were told that it was 34 degrees last night. Our little electric heater made all the difference. ... but I can't complain......other hikers were stuck on the ridge line, during the last two big storms, and I was warm and clean in a hotel room both nights. When we arrived at Zealand Falls Hut, there was a South bounder named Hercules was there. He was staying for the night. Cool guy who made everyone laugh. Long Bow showed up in a little, he had taken a fall, and busted up his knee pretty damn good. But was in good spirits, they didn't have any work for stay, ...

... no one really cares that my cart topped out at 10mph).

We were tired the next day from all of the week's excitement so we laid low in the morning. We met Mark for lunch at Giacomo's for their famous Roasted Red Pepper & Gouda soup and ran some errands in the afternoon (we needed water shoes for our white water rafting trip on Saturday). It was hot and cloudy so we retired to the couch until Mark came home. On Thursdays all summer there has been a concert ...
