      ... a lot to pull us up to other rocks. It was a great workout! At about halfway up we still had a decent view as we were under the clouds so we stopped, caught our breaths and had some granola bars. As we got higher it got wetter and a little more difficult to get up the rocks. It was slow going but still really fun and felt like an adventure.       ... of the Quechee Gorge complete with a descending hot-air balloon. On into Woodstock which turned out be a very pleasant, touristy village with the usual range of tourist shops and cafés.       ... watch this event which occurs twice each day. It was quite an amazing thing to watch. I'll bet it is even more spectacular when the spring runoff is at its highest.
