... the Shambles and behind the facades of the shops. Apart from the very strong wind it was worth the climb. We visited the Chapter House with its seven stained glass windows and beautiful flooring. I even managed to spot the one and only 'green man' as I was sitting underneath it. There is a new interactive attraction called the Undercroft, this follows the 2000 year journey of the Minster and is really quite moving especially the section on Resurrection, well ...

... King’s Court Buffet to be a bit frantic. Whilst we would not be critical of the food, there were just an awful lot of people in there and we soon decided eating breakfast, lunch and dinner in the Britannia Restaurant was the preferred option. Eating in the restaurant offered a varied menu with the possibility of 3 three course meals a day. Portion sizes were sensible (on the the whole quite small) and so eating this much this often did not present as much a threat ...
