    ... worth it. We got to the hotel and it was stunning and so elegant. We had no intentions of doing anything else but shower, get room service and watch TV till we fell asleep and that definitely did not take long and we slept for over 12 hours. We then got up and got ready to just walk around and find a cafe for breakfast. We walked through that park that we showed you all on the photo when we originally booked and it was just as stunning.     ... to keep down our noise levels) we decided we would be better off at Courtney's flat drinking ourselves silly.

    Off to the liquor store and then back to the flat and the drinking continues... then Katie who was in the area decided to join us and it got rowdier... until I could see everyone wishing that we would leave...

    Overstaying our welcome- good work girls! But a good Friday night was had!

    ... him know his wife, Anne Boleyn, had been beheaded at the Tower in 1536. We could see all the way to the building's of London from this vantage point. We walked further in the park, stopping for lunch on the terrace of Pembroke Lodge where Queen Victoria's Prime Minister, Lord John Russell, lived. His grandson, Bertrand Russell, spent his childhood here. The grounds and view are so gorgeous that I can hardly describe the beauty of this park.

    ... it with an ice cream.Once we had had our retail therapy it was time to head back to London. We were satisfied that we had made it to Windsor after all.

    Back in London we wandered up the streets towards the next station to catch a train to Parliament Square as Kyria wanted to take some photos at night of Big Ben etc. It was nice having the time to pop into some of the shops along the way.     ... and even a wine frig! The couple who own the apartment are very sweet and met us when we arrived. They left the wine frig stocked with a couple bottles of wine, beer, water, soft drinks and staple in the cupboard.
