Connie & Ralph brought ribs and beans for dinner. Very cool to have them come and visit us. Spent the evening catching up.

Friday, October 10th - Ft. DeSoto County Park

Enjoyed a slow morning. Went to the dog beach with Maggie and spent about 4 hours at the beach enjoying our last day out. Beautiful day.

... evening we went to a red lobster, where I had a platter or shrimp 3 ways that was about as big about a metre squared (one thing I do enjoy about the sea, plenty of food living in it) and went back to the hotel feeling bloated. No ghostly happenings to report of, though we were informed the next day that our friends in the room opposite suspected a spirit had stolen a pair of their shoes. They haven't been seen since.....

... many rainbow umbrellas on the beach. I thought perhaps I was at the gay section until I looked closer to see straight couples all over the place. I guess straight people also like pride umbrellas as well.. lol

Our next stop was the Caspersen Beach in Venice, Florida (not to be confused with the Venice in Italy :) lol Anyways, we just had a short stay at this beach to take some pictures and pose with a fallen tree ...
