    ... the UK she took us on three days of pub crawls. Well a new pub every day for three days. Pubs at Farnsfield, Blidworth and Edingley. Absolutely wonderful food in traditional English pubs. The Old Reindeer, Fox & Hounds and The Lion. There are so many small villages in the area with a local. Apparently they survive on visitors looking for somewhere different to eat. Table service is provided and the atmosphere is great. And they serve chilled lager along with various ales and ...

    ... would be good to simply visit the churches where his relatives had been married. What luck! As appears to be the practice in this zone, the churches have re-laid the gravestones as paving stones surrounding the actual church. Within minutes of arriving at St Chad’s Church in Rochdale, we had success. It was obvious that local stone was harder, and has survived in much better condition.
