Apparently Stage 1 of the Tour kicks off today in York and the riders will see a giant swath of West and North Yorkshire. I have to admit the main focus for us what the preparation for the next day and the all important climb up Holme Moss in Stage 2. Confession: we have been home for a few days now, but I couldn't quite muster up the enthusiasm to finish writing about our last couple of days.
