Grocery shopping was before lunch, because that only makes sense. Ashley, Dj and I went to the Millercoors brewery tour. It was like an episode of 'how it's made' in there. Their business model makes no sense. Free tour AND 3 free beers? Maybe they don't understand how making money works, but we took full advantage of that! Lakefront brewery was next on the list of places to tour. This place was more our style. ...

Through the Time Warp and Into Milwaukee

When you type 'Milwaukee' into the GPS from Massillon Ohio, you get an estimated 7.5 hours of drive time. Apparently Google has yet to program time warps into the maps app. Not that time matters when you have no job, but let me break something down.

We left at 10am EST, lost an hour due to time zone change, and arrived at 7:45pm Wisconsin time. 10a-7:45p would be 9.75 hours then add in the lost hour and were at 10.75 hours total!?!

    We made it.

Woke up to the 5:00am alarm and we were out the door and ready to roll at 5:30am. An easy drive to the race site that early in the morning. We found a great parking spot not to far away. They said parking could be a problem but we didn't experience any. Headed straight to the port o potties. No line yet, whew! Got everything pumped up, stocked, laid out and we were ready to start walking the mile down the beach by 6:15. We just followed the crowd of people down the path to ...

    ... too, but I didn't see one.

Finally I decided to get my bearings of the town by walking around it...So I did that, there wasn't much exciting though! Even though Milwaukee is more than twice the size of Madison, it has less than half the character...Much like Christchurch is to Dunedin...

Tomorrow I will commit to getting to the Miller Brewery...on the bus...

And by popular request please find attached my study of the habits of ...
