The morning fog collected in the trees, and caused it to "rain" for about 45 minutes. When I arrived at the shelter, was able to take a hot shower, and get a shuttle to town. Gail cooked a wonderful Sunday morning breakfast and we enjoyed a leisurely meal with much conversation. Jan and I headed back to Raleigh mid-morning. One really nice thing about main North Carolina highways is that they are mostly bordered by trees and bushes so you rarely see houses and other buildings.
