Today we got up fairly early, because we were headed to Mercado 28, a kind of flea market located in the 28th street. That I also found interesting. In Cancun and in Playa del Carmen the streets don't have names in the city center, instead they have numbers. At first I thought that was a rather difficult system, but after a few days I got the hang of it. Not too hard after all.

... hopped back onto the boat to go get something to eat. It was in a little restaurant where we were fed. Chargrilled mackerel, more fish, and I really liked it, so I went for a second portion. In that restaurant they also had a tiger shark in captivity, and where I usually refrain from supporting such things, I couldn’t help but jump in the cage with the shark. That was free, but taking a picture cost 100 pesos, and that I did not do. So no pictures to prove it, sorry guys ;) ...

You can buy your way into the Aero Mexico lounge for 420 pesos, even if you’re not flying with them, so rather than sitting in a cafe and paying for drinks with USD and probably getting more pesos back in ...
