And we are at the hostel, time to shower and clean! ----------------add ons-------------- Not sure if this will be another thru-hike, or a long fun-filled adventure - due to these new injuries, but either way.......this is what I came out here for, to enjoy the woods, this trail, and most importantly - the people, from the townies, the angels, the hostel owners, and of course my fellow hikers - that is what makes this trail truly special - the A.T. ...

We got there at 5pm, and it seemed ages before 6 came and we could play my fav sport again. ...

Last year, we stayed with Joe & Mary, our sponsor contacts, who were some of the loveliest hosts we could have hoped for, we met Brad and Jim Tonner, two brothers who run TwinDesigns, a local gift shop, and who write/illustrate children's books, and we met 16 year old Josh, a boy who was born with an autoimmune disorder and had been homebound and ...

... not finding any showers and multiple attempts with a few hotels we decided to stop a truckers stop and shower. Other than the smell of smoke it was surprisingly not that bad and we finally felt clean. We then drove through Massachusetts with some traffic delays and eventually made it to New Hampshire where we drove out east to catch the US 1. We ended up finding a nice place to stay in the Hampton’s…in a parking ...
