After breakfast, (Grace and Carroll stayed at the hotel too),we had a tour of downtown St Paul - this is one side of the river, and Minneapolis is the other side, they are locally called the twin cities. Looked at the University and city buildings, then stopped at the Capitol -Where the senate, the house of representatives and supreme court are. Very ornate inside with marble columns and stair cases. There are the old flags from the local regiments ...

This morning we got up early to head back to the RV shop to have a few things fixed and then we were going to hit the road. When we went to hook up, the hitch wouldn't work. What a hassle we had trying to get the trailer hitched and unhitched. I officially hit the road on Tuesday, starting my new adventure as APO's field rep. My first stop was Gustavus Adolphus in St. Peter, Minnesota. This time last year, they were just barely hanging on with only three members. Now they have fifteen and, after their recruitment event this week, are looking at adding 10-20 more.
