... There are more than 50 elephants in this orphanage and in entire Sri Lanka there are more than 5000. If I keep asking it becomes clear not all of them are real orphans but there are also wild elephants who caused trouble where they were living before... So it's quite a wide interpretation... ... took you through the mountain ranges seeing beautiful scenery of tea plantations and waterfalls on the way. A well known tourist trip! It ended up being that all of the first class tickets had sold out, but second class sounded better anyway as you had windows you could open which allowed for better photos, plus, they were cheaper! ... friend took no notice, took us by the hand and dragged us through bathrooms, hallway, stairs until reached a balcony room. This is the kind of place where you pay to have a seat, you by cigarettes one at a time, there is one bathroom for all the men with doors that don't lock and people share bottles of rum.
