    ... I got the last seat on the bus, and from there on in it was a hell hole. SO MANY PEOPLE.     ... a few days there rather than just pass through. We booked a full service guided tour (a first for us) through a company called Visit Sri Lanka Tours. This proved to be the easiest option since we didn't have the time to fully research Sri Lanka and it was going to be a quick stop...so efficiency was important.     ... immediately behind the official party, we both felt a tad unworthy but Bruno always pulls these amazing positions for us. The relic is behind golden doors in a type of tabernacle and the doors only open for 10 minutes, complete with drummers and monks, so we were on the spot and got to glance at the relic, indirectly.
