... comedic and I gave him a carton of milk as a tip. That may seem weird, but some are uncomfortable with tips afraid it will raise tourism costs, and he looked thirsty so there ya go. Sukhothai is a very historic city and has some amazing architecture for its temples. ... Not really sure what to expect or why it was such a big deal we stopped in. Upon entry we were greeted by ten bottles of brown liquid numbered one to ten - I'm not really sure what we thought we'd walked in to, perhaps these were the fluids used in Inception and we could try them out? ... AG opens up the truck bonnet and takes a quick reassuring look - a concerned westerner ( turns out to be Swedish) on a scooter stops to check we are OK. His handsome 4 year old son is sitting in front of him on the scooter, something that Dad readily admits he could and would never do in Sweden. He is here on holiday. ... in the bathroom. The joys of travelling. Monday 4th So today me and Matt had booked a 30km bike tour around the local villages and scenery of sukhothai. I still felt like absolute **** but I've got chronic fomo (fear of missing out) so I decided to soldier on. ... visit it makes for a long day trip from the new town. For those like me who are not too inclined to do that much walking bike rentals are cheap and allow you to cover more ground during the blazing heat. It's still around 40C and not a rain cloud in sight. I never though I'd say this but I almost miss snow!!
