... and hired a scooter ready for tomorrow and went and scouted out a little restaurant for some grub! Food is still fairly cheap so prices aren't going up just yet thank god! We aren't that close to the city, and we have been told that down south in the Phuket area it gets a lot more expensive! Thai/Japanese guy who was over visiting family with his wife and they just fancied some time away, he gave us some good tips on Chiang Mai and Sukhothai, They proceeded to get dropped off at a very nice posh Hotel. He did leave me with these wise words from a story he told me about climbing Mount Fuji, The saying in Japan goes, "If you don't climb Mt Fuji once you are an idiot. The train journey to phitsanulok was nice.
