... of the swimming pool. Avery and Nia had done so much walking in Ayutthaya that a pool in this leg of our trip was their reward. Plus it was still cheap at $20 a night. They have a nice restaurant with good food and they were nice to let us eat by the pool.

Decide to go to Sukhotai, has a large area monument, and is a step in the right direction to the Laos border. Arrive at the bus station in plenty of time, the bus turns up and looks like luxury, on board hostess, breakfast, and air conditioned.
