    Very relaxing....... good location

We had booked the hotel online and we were not disappointed. The duty manager when we arrived was excellent. We upgraded to Executive and enjoyed having breakfast and evening drinks in the Exec. Lounge and easy computer access. Ideally located on the river, walking the river became a daily ritual and there is a myriad of restaurants within ten minutes. With the new MRT station going in at Fort Canning this will complement the easy access to public transport

A Good Hotel of High Standard and Moderate Price

The hotel was large and busy but in spite of this the service was great and nothing was too expensive. The roof top swimming pool was lovely. The food was good. The hotel isn't isolated and there are various bars and restaurants nearby. I would stay there again if given the chance.

Our stay was excellent, we stayed in an Executive Room which allowed us free buffet break fast in the Executive Lounge. The room was wonderful, very spacious and had a huge bathroom with a real bath.
The staff were excellent although struggled with english but that was ok. The restaurants were excellent and the food was awesome.
Highly recommend this hotel when visiting Singapore.

    Hot room, expensive internet

We stayed at The Gallery hotel last time, it was much better, there was free internet, and the room was cool. The gallery had a slightly better breakfast. On the plus side the riverview has shuttle buses to a number of the shopping areas, I don't recall seeing tha at The Galleryt. We will test Riverview's bus tomorrow.

Having arrived at Changi which I have already described.... let me tell you about the accommodation. Firstly we forgot when we booked "the added charges"......naive travellers learn eventually. While we had located the hotel on the map, its relationship with everything else was still a little hazy. The entry statement of the hotel was "WoW" and …

So we did miss our connection and although it's a pain in the ass I have to say that Singapore Airlines had it all sorted for us when the plane landed. We were booked on the next available flight and we have a room in a very nice hotel for about 6 hours, free meals and free wifi so we can't ask for much more!! After lunch we decided to go out for a …

We had slept in until 10am and had a quick scramble with bus times/ezlink card as we were going to meet a good friend of Craig Henshaw's, Shen-Ru. We got the bus to town, what amazing sights. Massive buildings, hotels, all extremely modern, futuristic even. We passed the X which looked like a ship on three towers.

We met Shen-Ru and his friend Ted and went for lunch at Dean & Deluca, a New York brand, very smart café. Lasagna for Jana and ...
