A Good Hotel of High Standard and Moderate Price

The hotel was large and busy but in spite of this the service was great and nothing was too expensive. The roof top swimming pool was lovely. The food was good. The hotel isn't isolated and there are various bars and restaurants nearby. I would stay there again if given the chance.

Our stay was excellent, we stayed in an Executive Room which allowed us free buffet break fast in the Executive Lounge. The room was wonderful, very spacious and had a huge bathroom with a real bath.
The staff were excellent although struggled with english but that was ok. The restaurants were excellent and the food was awesome.
Highly recommend this hotel when visiting Singapore.

We stayed at The Gallery hotel last time, it was much better, there was free internet, and the room was cool. The gallery had a slightly better breakfast. On the plus side the riverview has shuttle buses to a number of the shopping areas, I don't recall seeing tha at The Galleryt. We will test Riverview's bus tomorrow.

So we did miss our connection and although it's a pain in the ass I have to say that Singapore Airlines had it all sorted for us when the plane landed. We were booked on the next available flight and we have a room in a very nice hotel for about 6 hours, free meals and free wifi so we can't ask for much more!! After lunch we decided to go out for a …

I'm on day 4 of my trip and currently waiting for my plane from Singapore to Cambodia, it seems paying for an expensive room in Singapore doesn't get you free wifi, luckily the airport is a bit more charitable and I am able to finally access the net, $16.50 a hit for the hotel wifi is ridiculous and I refused to pay it each day so I feel like I …

... even more difficult to own a car. You now have to pay 50% of the cost up front. This was not a requirement until recently. So that means to own a 130k SGD Corolla you have to pay at least 65k SGD up front. The COE is for 10 years. After 10 years, even if your car is running fine, you have the choice of scrapping it or buying another COE for 10 years. It's hard to believe, isn't it? http://www.oneshift.com/new_cars/carpri ...
