I love Singapore Zoo - love the way they take good care of the animals and how they bring them closer to people, especially the children. I was able to meet Ms. Isabel Cheng, the Zoological Garden's Marketing Manager last February here in Manila during a conference and I am amazed on their marketing strategiesand how they do their advocacy works in advancing animal rights. Way to go Zoo team!

After 12 hours flight we have finally reached Singapore and soon we will continue our journey via Sydney. We are already quite confused with the different time zones... we have just had breakfast (german time) and now we will get dinner (Asian time)... but we are hungry anyway! :)
... department store for the above price and the rooms are clean, fairly roomy with big windows, A/C, bar fridge, tea/coffee making facilities, en-suite, TV, and includes a small buffet style breakfast. The staff are lovely too and helpful.

... back the the hotel via the Singapore Flyer (similar to the London Eye - but in Singapore). We are planning to take a ride on that on our last day.
Jet lag kicked in on day 2 (Monday 31st Aug) and we slept in until after midday. Had an easy day with lunch at a food court (loads of variety from different places). Then we headed out to Haw Par Villa - a Chinese style theme park, complete with the "10 courts of hell!"
Going for a swim now in the hotel pool.....

... auf der Haut, wie wenn man sich mit Körperöl einreibt und kurz davor ist, sich anzüglich auf einer Autohaube zu drapieren. Der Nachteil ist, berührt man die Haut, siehts gleich ganz anders aus. Ich bin mir sicher, wenn man mich nur fest genug an eine behaarte Stelle drückt und fest anreißt, gehen sicher ein paar Haare mit, so pickt man nach einen Tag Ausflug zu Fuß.
Singapur ist eine echt nette Stadt und man kann hier ein paar tolle Sachen ...
