... a few of us headed to the John Hancock observatory which we were going to go up and look out over the city. But we got distracted when we got there and went to the Cheesecake Factory instead. ... did. We wake to a new day in Chicago, and the sun is shining. We visit Cloud Gate, or what is locally known as the Bean for a photo opp, and then head to the 'Bongo Rooms' for some brunch. Now, it's been said many a time, by many people, that portion sizes in America are too generous and we must now reiterate this concern: so, so much food...good food, but so so much: so much and too much. ... D looked good with the continuing trend from the last few years of causing as many turnovers as possible. However; the defensive highlight had to be the second half tackle by Bears rookie LB Jonathan Bostic on Chargers WR Mike Willie. Bostic hit him that hard it was heard above the crowd all around the stadium.

... I've hit a wall and am getting a bit tired. I'm finding it hard today to motivate myself. I've still got a couple of museums I want to see so I check how many days I have left to do these things on the calendar. Plenty of time. I can't believe how fast the time has gone. It only feels like last week that I landed "fresh off the boat".
