... it was under the cover. It had a beautiful beam of thorns across the top. A really beautiful cathedral but then we haven't come across too many ugly ones!!! We went for a coffee at the palace coffee shop to regroup and wonder what our next move would be. we headed off in research of the other cathedral that interested Brent - Our Lady Help of Christians. Arrived here at lunch time, unexpected peace and quite in run down motorhome only campsite. Was going to have given the place a miss and gone for the more traditional all singing and dancing over priced Italian campsite. Glad we didn't, in small field next to lake only two other vans. ... and dead guys called mummies wrapped up in bandages, etc. and he was very happy to see a statue of Tutankhamen (as was I!). We had another delicious lunch and a not very successful Skype with Brendon's family for Kim's birthday. After a rest we got our gelato and walked down towards the river Po - Brendon found a bar showing Argentina v Switzerland and I took Liam to the museum of Cinema. ... and the next being 13:35, crazy, there was meant to be an alternative bus at 10:19 but this never showed so we had to wait for the 13:35, luckily the buses ran late enough for us to get back...

Turin, is a lovely city which hasn't been over-run by tourists, which is always a good thing!

Asti

From Pavia, we headed to Asti, Originally we were heading for a Vin Yard with the ability for an overnight stop with facilities (from our camperdstop book), sadly we got there and there was nothing so headed for our alternative Campeggio Cagnidi Asti - It was a predominately permanent vans but with a few touring pitches.

We didn't actually do anything here so nothing to report - Just a pin in the map.
