... with their meeting. Since Rich & Sue used to live in the area, they were the tour guides. Our first stop was a local McDonald's. I know that sounds lame, but this one looks like a log cabin, both inside and out, complete with trophy animals. Sue told me that the last time they were there, some of the animals had hamburgers, fries and drinks in their paws. That is no longer the case, but it is still a unique McDonald's. Kyle and Liz left about 2ish but Alan & Kris stayed until about 4. It was a great visit, too bad it doesn't happen more often, but that would mean everyone moving to South Texas and that ain't gonna happen. ... we've been to Dachau, it still got to me. According to Trip Advisor, this place is fantastic and gets five stars from everyone who has been there. So if you are ever in this area, it is definitely worth the 2-2.5 hours for the tour.

After the museum, we walked through the Farmer's Market and had lunch on the porch of the ELKS club. This is what one thinks of when small town is mentioned.

While we were on the way there, we received a phone call from FMCA in Cincinnati informing us that we should follow the signs to the holding area on Monday and then we will be parked from there. ... into more construction. All in all for the how many ever miles we traveled that roadway, more than half was in construction zones.

We traveled on and while traveling I-39 around Rockford, we decided we would have to find another way out of Madison and south, The traffic going south around Rockford was backed up about 3 miles due to construction on that side. So we have to study the map.
