    ... just a strip of shops. Weird.

    As I'm getting a little tired after four hours on the bike, I've stopped a half hour outside of Cambridge in Saffron Walden.
    It has a castle, and a big old church, and the houses are so old and fascinating.

    I'm told that the town is uniquely lucky in that it has never seen action in any of the wars, civil or other wise, and it has not been gutted by fire in its thousand year history. So there are still lots ...

    ... England and I haven't been to Romford before. I saw my sister Tamar who had laser surgery on her eyes the day before and was shut in her bedroom with blankets over the windows to block out the light as her eyes are very light sensitive at the moment. She was on painkillers and a bit dozy.
