I don't really know where to start in terms of journal entries, so for now I will keep it short and say I intend to keep an up to date blog, which i hope will be entertaining to read and keep you amused along the way.

Home and done!!
But I say Adios to my 10 bed hostel dorms, shared bathrooms, Spanish speaking (which included a lot of pointing/actions/smiling and shrugging my shoulders/French/general Spanglish), throwing toilet paper in the bin, beautiful sights and scenery. And hola to the UK and my brilliant friends and family that I can't wait to catch up with.
It is good to be home once more…until next ...
I Believe I Can Fly.......
So after a VERY stressful few days, I have thankfully got the all clear from the doctor this afternoon and can fly tomorrow - whoop whooop!!
Had (and still having) a bit of a stress about trying to get everything into one small backpack - this weight restriction rule is ridiculous!
Anyway just wanted to 1. Say hello and let you know we are off tomorrow and 2. Check that this even works!!

THE END OF THE ROAD

We have a great flight and arrive back into Heathrow an hour early, we of course are allowed off of the plane first, Liz and I then realise we have left our pyjamas they gave us on the plane, Terry trys to retrieve them but security won't let him back on board, he points out that all is not lost, he has at least got his, smug b*****d. We get to baggage claim and when our bags come out we find that the zips on Terrys bag have split open again, ...

Again, there were recordings of men who had been pilots, radio operators, bomb targeters all talking about their experiences, which were moving and caused us to wonder whether today's youth would be as brave or as committed. Seeing their tats, nose rings and distressed jeans with the ****** down by their knees, makes me wonder.
