      Sacrifice in the sun

A travel blog entry by europeandreamin on Oct 01, 2014

I have a lot of catching up to do. On Monday Dave continued his morning walking while I enjoyed my coffee on the patio. We went to the pool at Hollywood Mirage since it is shallow. I can't stand up in ours. the pool question of the day was 'How many popes have there been in the Roman Catholic church?' Winner won a bottle of Champagne and 2 days in a seminary! Anyway, answer is 263 I think.

Sunday, Sept 28. Happy birthday Rachel. We had a goodnight's sleep. We had a quick salami and cheese sandwich and of course coffee. Our time share guy , Stewart, met us. He knew we aren't interested in anymore purchases. There was no typical pressure from him. We were his first suckers back in 2007. He holds us in high regard and kids about how much we like to enjoy ourselves. Did you all know that ...

... awake. It seemed that some of the other residents were having similar problems.

After the session was over, we ran down to the other hospital with three residents to see a very quick presentation all residents were required to attend. We only caught the last five or ten minutes of it, and again I was so tired that I didn't make much of an effort to understand anything. After our residents signed their attendance sheet, we ran back up to el ...

      End of week 4

A travel blog entry by btfreder on Jun 14, 2014

... on Friday, my friends and I decided to go to the beach. We've had such a long week, and since this is our last weekend together, we wanted to spend as much time with each other as possible. Las Terecitas has never been more beautiful than it was that day, though the wind blew the sand all over the place and pelted the **** out of us! The sun was out and shining, and the sky has only been as blue as it's ever been here in Tenerife. I got to lay out on the sand and dip my feet ...
