    ... but was a lot bigger. Train had wifi so I had done my research and knew what sort of ticket I needed to purchase for the vaporetto (water bus). I was keen to get to Murano and get a feel for how long the vaporetto would take, how big the place was etc and get rid of my suitcase. it was quite busy at San Lucia and I was trying to take it in all. There were guys with trolley/wheelbarrows for hire to port your luggage around. I had to keep reminding myself there were no cars ...

    ... identifying landmarks to get our bearings. It is so easy to become disoriented in these laneways - as we found out later that night after dinner. Left our restaurant and walked for 20 minutes (thinking we were headed for S.Marco Square) and ended up back at the same restaurant !!

    ... to the airport yesterday. There was a cool ride there he really wanted to try, and we were able to get him on to it. I will try to post the video - it's an inflatable ball that goes on a pond of water - the kids get inside and get to run around on top of the water in it. He had a blast!
