... watching. The Riva was lovely all lit up. Hotels, sidewalk restaurants, palm trees, people strolling, biking, roller blading, some dressed up for an evening out.

We had determined early on that there would be no day trips to take us away from Split. It was just too easy to envision three laid back days right here, wandering the old town and eating fresh seafood by day and strolling the Riva, ice-cream cone in hand, at night. ...
