My gratitude to everyone who helped is beyond words and with a special 'thank you' to the wheelchair angel at Tenerife South airport who managed to clear a speedy flight path through crowds of passengers with her verbal beep beeping and deliver me from aircraft to taxi in record time.

Well, it really does feel good to be mostly caught up on my blogs. I am sorry you all have had to wait so long for the pics etc form the Canary Islands. It has been hectic, but in the best way possible. I have to say that I am so thankful to UoL for budgeting in a bit of money for travel outside of France, because this was an experience of a lifetime. To be honest without them, I would not have been able to have that exoerience. At least not now ...

I tried to be optimistic that this wasn't a sign of San Fran's continual edging towards a chasm of uselessness but I had to admit he was getting less and less reliable. A saunter back to our apartment allowed us to take in the night life one last time as unfortunately we return home tomorrow.
