... rope teams from the east, specifically Ohio, North Carolina, and Colorado. Very fun to see how many jumpers there are worldwide. One of the goals of World Jump Rope is to make jump rope into a community. The camp will be taught by many of the older jumpers from teams all over the world. Bryn is very excited about that as well. Lauren here. Today has been pretty quiet. The morning was spent in the pool and sunbathing before the rain started, then we had a big lunch when Anika, Shawn and their children came over. In the afternoon some of us watched home videos from when Steven, our older cousins and I were younger and living in Scotland. ... which curve back on themselves at the top, to keep the gators away from the launch pads, apparently if the fences are straight up and down the gators can climb them....... they are at least 6' high fences!! As if trying to avoid the native drivers isn't hard enough , you also have to avoid driving off the road into gator infested ditches.
