people said it is beautiful.
i do not share this opinion. a hot, ugly town with polluted beaches and strange social behaviours with a touch of fear in the air.
outside of maceio you can find the jewels, of course.
stayed as short as possible and met a wonderful woman, selling her art on the beachfront pedestrian walk.

Standing atop the ship while still in port, miles of sandy beaches stretched out from either side. It was hot, sunny, and just right.
