... which is always nice. We could spread out our gear and long legs and make ourselves at home, even in 2nd class. The trains are so clean and efficient, with power points under the seats and a nice restaurant carriage (with astronomical prices!) and it is a lovely way to travel. ... we got back on the the metro and took it all the way to the end of the line. We had a breathtaking view of the city at sunset as the metro climbed and we were just in time to take some photos of the sunset when we got to the top. Unfortunately, just next to the train station there were a lot of trees blocking our view. In an attempt to get some good photos, Hannah climbed up on to my shoulders to look out over the trees, but it didn't work out too ...
Outdoors by the canons I was trying to recreate the shot in 2003 when I sat on the canons but couldn't do it.
... hang of shopping for food when you can’t read the labels or recognise any familiar brands. Trys is smashing the right hand road driving… although it’s all eye’s on deck for me in the passenger seat still when we go around round-a-bouts (understandably he gets a bit panicky sometimes).
Be prepared for a run of "Norway Part 1- 2 – 3 and so on" soon.
