... my attention. It runs diagonally through the city, lined with pleasant portico. There's a plaque that explains: one ruler decided thought this part of town was getting a bit run down, so he had the whole neighborhood demolished and a grand boulevard built to run through it. Not sure quite how to feel about that. Overall, I like this city. It's not going to make my Top Ten or even Top Twenty Italian cities... but definitely a worthwhile place to ...
