Last night we had a wonderful dinner with a local family in Suzdal, Nicholas and Svetlana. They have a typical Russian home with a large garden that they lavish attention on and is really prize worthy. Their home was built by Nicholas and is all wood on the interior and exterior.

... After all the Asian temples, it was nice to see churches again and we visited St Basils on Red Square, as one of the most famous examples of a Russian Orthodox church. Inside it is made up of 9 different chapels. Upstairs, there were 3 men singing choral music which was lovely and very atmospheric.

... committee at HSE. This is a really nice place that we hope has more customers usually, as we were the only people I saw there. I had a excellent pasta e fagioli soup while Marty had pasta with pesto and porcini. Then I had a dish with two kinds of fish along with squid and delicious spinach. Marty's main course was a different kind of fish with, I think, more mushrooms. The house white wine went really well with everything.
And so to bed!
