      ... the parking area. One of them was a parking spot that was reserved only for families, and another one that was specifically only for women drivers. Simon told me this was because in dark parking garages, it can be a little sketchy, so it's better for women to have a parking spot closer to the exit. It's the small differences in every place that make each city I visit so interesting.

      ... I cleared customs and were on our way to the S train/subway to get to Frankfurt City. The streets were deserted as it was early morning. There were broken bottles, garbage and fireworks everywhere! Looks like they had an epic party here last night. Nothing was open so we headed to the Frankfurt Cathedral first and then Romer itself. It got chillier as we made it further toward the river but continued on anyway. ...

      ... of the fun if you accept it. Anyway we just cross the road and are in the station in no time, check times and sit with a coffee, Frankfurt main is a big rail station and today is busy. Anyway I needed to go and get a sim sorted so I have Internet, can't travel like this without it, bookings changes etc all need it. The little phone shop ended up sorting a sim for my Ipad, too long to explain the fun with sims, suffice to say ...

      ... realised they spoke German... Turns out my jokes aren't so funny in German. With this knowledge fulfilling my quest to understand the lack of response to my attempts to break the awkwardness (I was gonna sit next to him for the next 10 hours...) I was then shattered when he spoke English too... Turns out my jokes aren't funny in English or German...
      And to top off that, the Lufthansa pillows are pathetic, I could find more feathers ...

      We arrived in Frankfurt at 6pm. What a massive airport! The hicks had to take a photo of the notice board. There were 8 flights taking off every 5 minutes, we both were so impressed. Wasn't hard to leave Germany only Stuart was asked "können Sie Deutsch" he goes "nop" while trying to get ...
