Today is the last day of the Conference and our last full day in Atlanta. Drive to Orlando tomorrow to join the cruise on the 11th. I left the hotel early and caught the shuttle bus to the Martin Luther King Jnr Historic site. It included the Ebeneza Baptist Church that his father and he were ministers. The church was the centre of his civil rights work. His wife, after his assassination, took over and continued his amazing work for peace ...

Our bags were some of the first out and with C's beady Go-Go-Gadget findy eyes, I had no trouble getting them.

Mom, of course, was in tears when she saw us, and so thankful to Uncle Colin and Aunty Di for fetching us from the airport.

The alarm clock went off all too early, 7:30am. We left the hotel by 8:15am & were almost to the gate by 9:15am. Didn't take long at all to return the rental car & get checked in. There was a strike going on, so upon entering the airport the strikers all had whistles & were blowing them. It was deafening & don't know how they were able to get away with it. Jeff couldn't wait to get his coffee at Starbucks ...
