... of the precious commodity that has been such a joy to have: the commodity of time. So, as I watch my children work together to build a sandcastle on a beach in Italy, I count Jenn and I the luckiest of parents because we have amazing children and the time to get to know them for the amazing people they are and will become in the future. That is until Jack picks up a stick and hits his sister.

We miss you all. We'll be home soon!

I don't think I have done so much walking in one city in my life! Rome was amazing!! As soon as we got there we set off on a 3 hour walking tour of the city led by Kendall. We had to be very careful when were doing this because they have really strict rules about tour guides and they can make you pay lots of money if they don't think you are legit. So even though she is a trained and qualified tour guide, if we saw one of these ...

This was only a very quick stop in Pisa to but compete tourists :) we couldn't afford to stay much more than an hour anyway because it costs an insane €200 an hour to park in the car park around the corner from the tower. It was pretty cool to see it but it would not be something that I feel I would ever need to see again. We have been so lucky with the weather it has been absolutely ...

I was really looking forward to Florence because mum had always talked about what a beautiful city it was. It was quite different to what I was expecting but I still really enjoyed it. Beautiful buildings and cathedrals. We went to the famous palace where Armani now lives (it was once a palace for some important people in Florence haha) Not the most beautiful of palaces I've seen but still very grandiose all the same. It ...

The home of Romeo and Juliet :) Of course it isn't a true story but the have definitely made the most of it all. One of the biggest tourist attractions is the balcony that Juliet stands on. They also have a statue of Juliet there and it is said to be good luck if you rub her right breast... So of course I had to do it. Although we were only there for a few hours it seemed like a beautiful place. Lots of little alleyways to explore and huge markets with delicious fruit cups!!! Yum ...
